Well honestly, if it keeps the anime running, I am ok with fillers. Most of them did not bore me to death, so I sat through them with the prevailing hope of seeing the next actual episode. Yes, I would probably be enjoying bleach more had they have stopped the fillers, but hey, ya do what ya gotta do.

The issue is the fact that they don't have that much to go from. Since bleach is originally a manga, they after what happens in the manga. The problem is that each episode fills more then on manga chapter. In the anime they arrived in soul society around episode 20. In the manga around chapter 70. Both release once a week. So the anime has 3 choices. Filler, stop airing or create your own ending.
