You must complete shikai training as a recruit to attain a seat. This thread will contain you, and the captain roleplaying as your zanpakuto spirit. Your skill in this thread (As well as your overall skill as a member) will be used to determine your seat. Even then, you will only be able to get up to third seat.

To attain the Vice Captain position, you must either complete bankai training (sixth seat and above only, same rules as shikai training), OR: If your character does something to help out/save the division, they may be promoted on the spot.

Promotions will be handled on a basis of how active you are on the site, the quality of your roleplay, and your qualities as first division material. (Leadership, Truth, etc.)
